Can I adapt a tube pan pound cake recipe for a large 12 x 18 sheet cake? How would you do this? What temperature to cook it at? Time? I would use 2 nails. How do I keep it moist before frosting since it is too big to be wrapped and frozen in my freezer? Need sturdy cake for base layer that I will put a shaped Barney cake on. Thanks for any help.
