I need to make a darker brown fondant and the Fondarific is a little light. Can I add brown coloring to the Fondarific or will it change the fondant? The fondant is already soft to start with. TIA.

Good evening Sweettreat101,

You can add a gel or paste coloring to the chocolate Fondarific without it changing the texture. Try adding a little black at first, I think that will work better than the brown. You will not have to add as much. Let it rest for a short while after coloring to come back to room temperture.
Hope this helps.

Thank you. I have a sample of the chocolate fondant so I will try adding a little black to see how it turns out. Thank you. I need to place my order this week.
