I have the Christmas Red and Navy Blue from Wilton....I put a lot into my BC but all I got is pinkish and light blue icing.
Whenever you are trying to make dark colored icings, try adding the color to your liquids before adding the powdered sugar. For some reason diluting your color first makes the powdered sugar absorb it better. Also try using Americolor color gels or powderes made by CK.
