I got the following:

Cricut Cake Personal Electronic Cutter
1 (12 in x 12 in) food-safe cutting mat
EXCLUSIVE! Cake Basics cartridge
1 stainless steel cutting blade
1 power adapter
1 cartridge skirt
1 silicone keypad cover
1 cartridge port cover
1 stainless steel blade basket
1 cleaning brush
User manuals and guides

Not a bad deal if I say so myself. Has anyone found it cheaper than this?

No....The cheapest, now, is Costco (on line) for $300.00 and free shipping.

But with Costco you have to pay tax. And I am not a member so it was an additional $15 plus tax it came to around $335.

I got mine from HSN for $385 ($415 with tax) but it included the elegant cakes cartridge ($65 Value) and the basic cakes cartridge and about $45 worth of frosting sheets (which I am not very impressed with, will just stick to using fondant and gumpaste)

I think you got a great deal and would suggest that instead of paying the extra for another cartridge you get SCAL or MTC and make your own images, or download free svg files .
