Hi everyone, I came across this petition while lookingup California cottage law. I don't know who started it but would appreciate some signatures.
It would be great If I can get paid for my cakes. icon_biggrin.gif
It does ask for your email so that they can send you a confirmation.

Thanks

I would love if they changed the laws in CA. Do you know how many signatures are needed in order for this to move forward? I am an aspiring cake decorator and would love to be able to start my own business out of my home... It's either that, or move to a state that will let me. I just don't know how my husband would like that idea.

I am still curious to know whether anyone is actively lobbying California lawmakers for a Cottage Foods Bill. The petition is useless without someone actively driving the train.

I was wondering the same thing Kelley, or more along the lines of...ok, we have signatures, now what? It's California and our lawmakers, like all others drag, hem and haw when they can. Especially when they are making changes to a market that may affect revenue.

I still signed...cause I hope things can get changed here.
