I have a request for me to make the desserts for a lady at my church and her Women's Club metting. She wants me to make orange chocolate truffles and something else. whatever i want. I don't want to do a whole cake, b/c she wants everything to be individual...any ideas?

I love mini cupcakes especially with a filling and a berry on top of the icing as a garnish. Other than that, I think mini fruit tarts are always popular. Strawberries are in right now and the raspberries are coming!

Small squares of orange poppyseed cake with piped white chocolate ganache and piled high with pashmak (Persian Fairy Floss)

or small bite size pecan pies (made in mini muffin tins)

Creme Brulee in chinese food spoons

hang on ..... you're a pastry chef and your asking our opinions??????????

Glad to see they didn't churn out a know-it-all icon_biggrin.gif

Have you decided on anything yet?

Here's something I've done. Mix 2 cups whipping cream with cheesecake pudding and whip together. Pipe into mini phyllo shells. Top with a slice of strawberry or a raspberry. Very elegant, very tasty and VERY easy!!
