how long can i freeze buttercream for,and how much will i need to frost a 2 layer 12" cake and a 2 layer 10" cake any ideas?

I've read that you can freeze buttercream for a few months. HTH!!

This wilton chart has approximate amounts needed for frosting in the far right column.

I also agree with bakermom, I think you can freeze it for a few months.

i'm going to print it out in black and white so i don't waste my color, i put it in my favorite places and then can't find it. thanks
