Making a cake for my sister's 23rd birthday and need ideas. She's a hairstylist so something with that would be good, and she's also into fashion so that would work too. This is only my third cake so nothing too complicated please.

you could do a sphere cake and use the grass tip (#233 I think) to put hair on the head. Perhaps the same color as your sister's.

what about combining the two ideas and doing a spilled purse cake which would be simple since it's lying down and you wouldn't have to worry about stacking and covering something high in fondant. You could have hair stylist tools spilling out of the purse for example: rollers, scissors, comb, brush, etc.
