Has a anyone tried a commercial cake mix (i.e. CK Products). I am thinking if trying one or at least extending one. However I did not want to get too far away from a scratch taste. Any suggestions?

I'm a scratch baker, but did recently buy one of each of the CK mixes to try with my 3 year olds! I didn't like the white cake at all but the chocolate was great. It tasted just like my scratch chocolate cake and had a nice light texture. I haven't used the yellow cake yet.
