I'm making a birthday cake for a sweet 16 birthday. The client wants plaid on the cake. What's the best way to do this? I plan on using a crusting buttercream recipe I have to make it look like fondant. I'm worried that the colors will bleed together. Any help would be appericated. Thanks![/b]

I've used edible images for this before. Just cut it to the size you need, and make sure you match the pattern
