Well, I have a new one...for me anyway! I've been asked to make a cake for a lady who just became a new grandmother. Her new granddaughter and family are living with her I believe and her fellow teachers are giving her a little shower/party to welcome the new baby. It's going to be a small cake. I was thinking of just making a cute baby shower type cake with pink baby shoes on top. But I thought I'd see if anyone had any cute ideas. Thanks for any input!

You could do a little onesie cake with "Grandma loves me" or some other cute little grandma saying on the front. Small and unique!

How about a quilted baby blanket with "Happiness is Being a Grandmother" or some cute phrase like that.

I like these ideas! I might try looking up other phrases/quotes about grandmothers. I can't wait to do this cake--I think it will be fun!

If you do 3D work, a 3D cute teddy bear might be really fun, and the bear could be sucking his thumb and holding a pink or blue blankie and the saying could be written on the board or on the blanket.

Well, I wasn't told when they needed this cake...my mom said they couldn't decide when to do the party. So, my mom called me the day before. It was a very rushed job. I'm disappointed I didn't have more time. But here is the result:
