I need a firm from scratch carrot cake recipe..I have searched but can't find a firm one that can be stacked. Appreciate your help thumbs_up.gif

I would say that any recipe can be stacked. Remember your doweling/supports/cake board actually support the cake, not the lower tier. Many people stack box mix cakes and they aren't firm at all. Personally I like a carrot cake that uses babyfood along with carrots cause the babyfood gives it a carrot-y flavor and the real carrots give it a good appearance. There are several in the recipe section to try.
