I just passed my health inspection last Friday and am now a fully legal business. I went to Sam's Club yesterday to open a business membership and the customer service representative was very talkative and asking me about my business. So, I was telling her that I was starting a business making custom cakes, chocolates, etc and she offers this bit of advice for me.."Oh, you should call "Sally" tomorrow in the bakery department (of Sam's Club) and talk to her about purchasing buckets of icing and pre-baked cakes". My reaction was to just smile and say "Oh, thank you". But inside I'm thinking--why would I buy a cake from Sam's! That was the whole point of starting my business! To offer people something other than a Sam's Club cake! I'm no snob, but I just thought it was funny!
You should take her one of your cakes just for being so nice
She'll never touch another cake from work LOL
Hey, the lady works for Sams. Of course she wants you to spend money in her store.
Good for you for being nice.
