I need to make a double layer cross to feed 60 people, what size pans do I need? I have a 9x13, 11x15, and 12x18. Do I put 2 sizes together and then complete it by carving? I am not sure if I use the 12/18 and then carve it into a cross shape that I will have enough servings. Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Here's the way I have cut my cross cakes...see photos for results.

Sorry, I don't seem able to load picture...at any rate, I cut a rectangular cake in half lengthwise like the former pix, and then make a cut in the 2nd strip about 1/3 of the way down. The 1/3 piece is the top of the cross, the longest strip is the cross section, and the bottom of the piece is the 2/3 piece. Hope this makes sense...less cutting and crumb edges.
