How Do I Attach A Fondant Ruffle To A Pillow Cake?

I want to do a ruffle like the one in the picture below - not sure how to do the ruffle. Any suggestions?

The ruffle looks like a strip of fondant made thin on your foam with a ball tool like you do your flowers with you could attach with water with a little fondant in it or good old royal. Good Luck

Here is a link to a youtube video that shows frilling. You have to watch through about 1/3 of the way but it does come up. This might help you with what you want to acheive. HTH

Thanks for the input. It looks like in the picture that perhaps the "frill" was attached upside down, then folded down? You don't see any edge. Does that make sense? Would that work, if I did it that way?

Yes, I agree with you. If I attach it right side up I put a fine border on it to hide the edge.
