I am attempting an oil-rubbed bronze finish. The problem is I have no luster dust. I was thinking about making a coppery color fondant and then "painting" over it with black. Has anyone tried this or have any other tips to try? TIA!

I looked up "oil rubbed bronze" online and it looks more like a deep brown wooden color, sort of...so I wouldn't use black....maybe brown, or even a cocoa powder paint sort of thing???

Thanks! If I could figure out how to attach a web link, I would post the pic of the clock I am trying to make. It's for my own birthday, so I'm not out someone's business or money if I do it wrong. icon_cool.gif It just looked like a neat idea for a birthday cake...Time ticking away.
