First time making a 1/2 sheet (12X1icon_cool.gif - 2 inches deep. Do I need more than 2 flower nails? I do not have more so would I be better off using my heating core?
TIA!

I use 4. Bought Ateco's baking nails at ICES in Chicago.

I dont' use any. Just baking strips, grease-only-no-flour the pans, and reduced oven temp

For 1/2 sheeters I normally don't use any, just lower the temp./increase the cooking time. However you feel you need to then 2 should be more than enough.

When folks say they reduce the oven temperature, what do you set the oven on? 325 or lower?
