How do you use Rice krispies to make shapes?
I wanted to make ears for mickey mouse and read under several pictures that they used RKT?

I just followed the directions on the cereal box although I use marshmallow fluff instead of marshmallows but that doesn't make a difference really. After I made the recipe - I sprayed a little pam on my hands so that I could mold the RKT mix into the shape I wanted. It just helped so that the mixture didn't stick to my hands while molding. Then I just let them cool and harden. Look in my pictures - I made a cow for a cake topper out of RKT's and covered it in fondant. The only thing I had to do was to make the head stay on - after I molded the RKT mix and it was still warm - I stuck a dowel into the bottom of the head and the top of the body so that when both peices hardened, there would be a hole to stick the dowel into. I was afraid that once it hardened, I wouldn't be able to without breaking them. they needed the dowel so the head stayed on. I hope this helped you. Good luck. thumbs_up.gif
