I'm doing a wedding cake tomorrow and would like to know if using royal frosting to glue the gumpaste flowers on the sides of the cake will be the best frosting to use. The cake is frosted in buttercream. The flowers (peonylike) are large cupcake size, but very light. icon_smile.gif

I've stick RI flowers on top of BC iced cakes with just a blob of BC without any problems, but not really sure about putting it on the sides. I read an earlier post where Indydebi said she always uses BC blobs for sticking any flower (fresh, RI, silk) and never had to use RI or anything else. HTH.
