Could we pls have a discussion about these two kinds of Fondant. I've always used Satin Ice but am willing to try Fondarific.

Thanks!

There's lots of threads out there, Melissa, but here's why we use them:

1. The flavors (if a client wants more of a marshmallow-y taste, then we use Satin Ice)
2. The healability (if it tears because we've rolled it out too thin, it heals very nicely)
3. You end up using less because you can roll it out thinner than other fondants

Yes, I've been reading a lot about the different kinds of Fondant. It seems like the Fondarific is a bit more easier to work with. Satin Ice has been ok for me, but had a few issues here and there with it. I imagine it's like that with most people depending on conditions, etc.

Thanks for your input.
