Has anybody here purchased her book on fondant animals? I am thinking of asking for it for my birthday, but don't want to "waste" a gift if the book is not worth it. Thanks!

See if your library has it, if not they may be able to borrow it from another library for you to check out.

I checked with the library, but they did not have it and none of the area libraries seem to have it. icon_biggrin.gif - they did suggest that it would be a good donation if I was ever interested in doing that.

I'm thinking about getting a "how to" book for my birthday as well. The one you suggested was rated well on Amazon.com. Anyone have any other suggestions on fondant figures? Thanks!

Has anyone looked at polymer clay how-to books? It's a different medium, but the end result is rather similar. Just a thought; I've been browsing these types of books as well as for fondant!

Yes, I use the polymer clay books to model by. My favs so far are:

Clay Characters For Kids by Maureen Carlson
Making Gifts In Polymer Clay by Stacey Morgan
The Sculpey Way With Polymer Clay by Hot Off The Press (this is my fav!)
