I got an order today for a camo buttercream cake. This lady's husband HATES chocolate. How would I make the dark colors for camo without using a chocolate icing? Can that even work?

You don't have to make chocolate icing in order to make dark colors, just use more coloring.

you can use white frosting and color it a couple of shades of green and brown. no chocolate necessary.

I did a camo cake for my brother's birthday in March using Indideby's icing. I used a dark gray (didn't care to keep mixing color), 2 shades of green, and a khaki all from a white icing. No chocolate at all, it just takes some work to get the right color.
