I'm just wondering how long I can keep the BC for? I need to do a crumb layer before bed, will the BC be ok when I get up to complete the rest of the icing? If so, how should I store it? Its a crusting BC.
Also, do you have to put BC or Ganache on before fondant? My mum used to brush the cake with strawberry jam (jello?) before laying the fondant on.....
It should keep okay being out just one night, If longer i would refrigerate just to be safe
