Fondant On Wedding Cake

i am doing two wedding cakes in the two weeks. i am not very experienced w/this but feel confident that i can. however, i am wondering how many days in advance do you put fondant on a cake? after i put on the fondant can i put the cake in the fridge? thanks for any help or advice.

I've put fondant on some of my cakes as far as three days before it's due date. I try to have all of my cakes ready at least 10-24 hours before they're due. That way if I have any trouble I have time to make adjustments.

I never refrigerate any of my cakes unless I've used a perishable filling, which I very seldom do.
