I have a very large stencil cake to do (Martha Steward damask stencil from Designer Stencils) I will be stenciling on fondant. What works best...royal, buttercream, melted chocolate, or melted fondant. The tutorial on this site says you can use any of them. Just wondering which is best.
I think it's all a matter of preference. Personally, I have only used royal on fondant. Never had a chance to try anything else
I just did one.... RI... works perfectly on it... but I know others have succesfully used buttercream... matter of choice I guess....
if this is your first one... be ready... u r gonna LOVE how easy and how gorgeous it is... now I want to do a lot of stencils lol
