I have a batch of fondant that is a very light shade of red (almost pink) right now. I know that red is a primary color and technically you can't mix colors to make red...but is there any possible way to get a shade of red with other icing colors? I'll have to pick up more red coloring eventually, but I'm hoping I can use some of the colors I already have. Thanks in advance.

I think you answered your own question. Red is a primary color. You can't make it using other colors.

It's not "technically" you can't mix colors to make red.

it's you CAN'T mix colors to make red.
