I am nervous about my ribbon bows staying glued to my cupcakes...used polyester ribbon and a hot glue gun...tried it on finished cupcakes but when pulled it pops off...should I worry?

How else would you attach fabric ribbon to liners?

How about tying it in a bow once the cake has baked up in it? I have done before and let look cute and stay one if you tie tight enough. Other than that maybe some light glue?? and let it dry??

I'm not sure if this is ok to do, but since I have seen people use the floral pearl head pins to hold ribbon on a cake, that is may work for cupcakes too.

i ended up using double sided tape in the back to hold the ribbon up... was not fun trying to get the ribbon to stay in the same place all the way around... now that i have more experience i would use royal.. it works for everything else icon_smile.gif

Good luck
