I made a batch of Rhondas MMF. I waited 24 hrs and rolled it out. Put it on my cake off of the mat (couldnt see the top until it was on there) and it has air pockets. Why would it do that.

I do not have time to make more so I have to use Wilton. I am going to add alittle vanilla to mask the flavor as much as possibl.e

I'm so sorry this happened to you. This happened to me as well and I had to drive 30 min each way to the cake store. I decided not to throw my mmf away and thought I would practice with it later. It was a few wkd before I neede it and it was perfect. I have no idea why the pick marks were there the first time. Could you mix the mmf with the Wilton for flavor? I had never made mmf before so I assumed it was just meicon_smile.gif You can also mix white choc candy clay into the fondant for flavor but it won't be white white. Good luck with your cake.
