Hey all,
so it has been A LONG time since I decorated a cake.. like 15 years to be exact lol
I used to make icing with crisco/icing sugar/vanilla/nondairy creamer.
Is there a recipe like this? but maybe with a little butter in place of all the shortening?
I need to decorated a birthday cake and really want a yummy frosting.
thanks so much!!
(or even if you have an even better recipe that would be great as well!!!)

There's a recipe on here that I LOVE, it's called "Buttercream Dream" This may be indydebi's recipe, not for sure though. Good luck!

so I ended up doing this one..
Indydebis Crisco-Based Buttercream Icing

BUT with 1/2 butter 1/2 shortening & non dairy vanilla creamer instead of milk

turned out really yummy!
will be what I used on Sunday for the cake icon_biggrin.gif
Thanks again for all your help!
