On the cooking shows, they always put a board under the cake, same size, and then decorate. the boards I have used are cardboard and need to be covered with foil. I do not see foil on the boards they use. Are they something other than cardboard? Thanks

Are you buying waxed cake boards, or just cardboard? I don't wrap my cake rounds in foil unless I"m making my own drum to put the cake on.
