Cricut Cake ?

Can you use this on buttercream cakes? I do not do fondant.

you can ice your cake in buttercream but gumpaste and fondant must be used in the cricket and applied to your butttercream cake!

How would I get it to stick to the buttercream?

If your buttercream has not crusted over it will stick just fine. After it has crusted over use a little water on the back of the gumpaste/fondant. The picture below is done on buttercream. The name, polka dots, palm trees and number were cut out with the cricut.
