I am looking out for ideas for a Farewell cake for college students. Can someone please help. Have never made one before so completely blank.

Its a whole batch of students in the 3rd year of college. My son is in the 2nd year & the 2nd year students are planning a party for the 3rd year seniors who will graduate this year.
Offcourse the cake will be a free gift to them...........but that is only if i can come up with some ideas.............at the moment I am totally blank...........anyone has any clues..............thanks
