I am making my sisters wedding cake for her May 2nd wedding. We have finally decided on the flavors. She is wanting a 6,9,12 inch cakes torted and filled with Cream Cheese Filling. I am running out of time to order the sleeves online so I am needing to do it within the next few days.

Where I am needing help with is I am not sure how much I am needing to buy to fill these cakes. It says its 2lbs. Can anyone help me. Its my first time using Filling sleeves.

Thanks!

Here's a chart that gives amount of filling required by cake sizes:

thanks for the chart, that helps alot!

For the chart though is those measurements per cake/torted?

Example a 6" cake 4 inches high torted and filled would 1/3 c be enough or would that be 2/3 cup for the entire 6" tier?

The amount given can be used to fill or torte.

If you're going to torte, then multiply the number of tortes by the amount given.
