Hey, quick question out there, i am painting a fondant loop bow gold, but want to know, do you color the fondant, lets say yellow, and then apply the gold? Or do you simply paint the white fondant gold? Does it take several coats of lustre paint to get that color?

I color the fondant with buttercup yellow before I paint it gold so that it doesn't take as much luster dust

its easier to colour the paste gold or grey if you want to do it in silver, this way you use less luster dust and also if you miss a spot its not so obvious icon_smile.gif
