I'm doing a Thomas the train cake Friday and need a pattern, preferably from the front view only. Did a quick internet search and couldn't find anything, but saw several cakes in the galleries with this design.

Still haven't decided whether or not I want to try a chocolate transfer or RIT...may just fill in with stars...any suggestions would be appreciated.

TIA for the help!

I did a 2D Thomas Cake and the front view image on the link posted above is the picture that I used to make my cake. All I did was cut in some of the accents around the face to make it more detailed.

Let me know if you need any other information, happy to help. thumbs_up.gif

Here is a really good link to a paper craft of the front view of Thomas. The pieces are all seperated for you. I used this template when I made my Son's Christmas stocking one year.

Thanks so much for the links! This is exactly what I'm looking for!

Now I just need to decide how I'm going to do this...fondant cut outs, star tip fill in, or RIT???
