First question: When ppl talk about using All Purpose (AP) flour and having to add baking powder to it, can't I just use All Purpose ,Self Rising Flour in my recipes found on CC?

Second question: Where can I find good, tried & true, white and Chocolate MUDCAKE recipes with US measurements. I do not have a conversion chart, but all the MUDCAKE recipes I have found (5) all had metric (?) measurenents posted.

Answering both these questions would be greatly appreciated... Thanks much~~~

For the first question--it depends on the ratio of flour to leavening agent in the specific recipe. Self-rising flour may work, but it really will depend on the recipe and will effect how much the cake rises
