I am making a bed cake and wonder how I'd put the fondant bedskirt on? Would I put 'the sheets' on first, then attach it after?

TIA!

I haven't made one before, but I would think that you would put it on in the same order you make a bed, unless you are wanting to cover up the side ends of the "sheets" in which case I would do the sheets, bedskirt and then the "bedspread" icon_smile.gif

I just did a cake with a bed skirt and sheets. Take a look at it in my gallery. I did two layers of cake and on the bottom layer, I put the bed skirt on. I didn't cover the entire layer, just enough over the top of the layer, that it wouldn't show when the sheet tier went on. It's really easy. Just cut out a piece of long fondant (a little wider than the layer is high) and then gather and place on buttercream. If you need any further help, you can pm me and I'll try to explain better. Good luck!
