I would like to do some cookies where the numbers are joined. Like 2010 but it's like one big cookie, I hope I am explaining this right.

Anywhoo, can I just bake the cookies so that they are touching? Will they fuse together and be sturdy? Or do I need to buy a specific cutter for this?

Thank you for your help.

You can just have them touching. They'll pretty much bake together. I wish I could remember the decorator who posted some tips on these type cookies. She cut the first number, trimmed out a part of it, cut the second and placed it where she trimmed the first, and so on. They really turned out cool!

Here are the cookies you're thinking of, Gemini, and she does show step-by-step photos: http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=1545116

Thank you!! I figured there would be someone out there who would know what I was talking about! It's even better than I remember.
