I am making my husband a candy barrell cake for his birthday. He has been out of town all week and will return tomorrow which is his birthday and I want it to be nice. When I look at all of the pictures of the Candy barrll cakes on here there is alot of space on top of the cakes where the candy is poured, but when I measured my Kit Kat Bars they are only a little over 3 1/2 inches tall. Do you only use one layer of cake and torte and fill? or do you use 2 cake layers? Thanks for any help you can give.
