I am new to the forum but I was interested in getting some techniques on making a half white and half chocolate sheet cake. Do I bake them in separate pans and then frost them together or is there a way to bake bot batters in one pan? icon_confused.gif

I bake them in the same pan. I have a standing order for a monthly sheet cake - 1/2 butter, 1/2 chocolate. So I make my butter cake mix first and pour it into one side of the pan. Then mix the chocolate batter and pour into the other side of the pan. Then bake as you would normally. Works like a charm!

Thank you so much! I was having a hard time trying to figure out if I could bake it all in one pan without them mixing! icon_wink.gif
