I'm really stumped on this one. She sent me several ideas for a wedding cake, all white, very plain, classy, and then she wants a huge birds nest on top. How can I do this. She is open to other things, so what would look good with a birds nest. Her colors are brown and green. Any pictures or ideas I would sure be helpful, thanks

Mixing melted chocolate with Fiber One cereal will look like a birds nest.

Oh- the fiber one dipped in white chocolate with white gumpaste birds would be cool.

That is so kind of both of you to mention my work, hehe. I think fried crispy noodles dipped in chocolate will also achieve a nice natural nest.

KHalstead, hehe. I'm not a teenager. I'm actually in my 20's. When I go to casinos, I always have to be stopped to show my ID--people think I'm only 16! Hehe.

Hehe, thanks! The topper nest was just foil (shaped into sticks) and then dipped in chocolate. I would have used the noodles but I didn't have time to practice.

The other nest from my buds-type-of-cakes are just floral wires covered in brown floral tape. I just weaved it.
