Id like to make a coach purse for my dd's 25th bday but Im wondering how all you talented people out there do it! Id like to have a flat effect rather than cutting out the c's and placing on the cake -- how do you make a stencil -- do you make a stencil or should I just go with a regular purse???? Im open to suggestions on this one.

I would probably just cut them out of fondant/gumpaste, but since you want the design to be flat, just use them as a stencil. Print it out, glue it to either posterboard or stencil plastic (try your local craft/hobby store for either) cut out shapes with an exacto knife and "Voila!" Instant stencil! Good luck! Hope this helps!

I've also seen ppl using an edible image for the fabric...think u just take a close-up pic and take it to the store to have them print it out...I'm in CA so I'm sure they're anal about copyright issues..or I would do this..
