Help With Fondant And Cream Cheese Storage

Making a red velvet cake, cream cheese filling and covering it in fondant. Will cover cake with fondant on Friday and party is Saturday. Now do I refrigerate it, because of the cream cheese or not because of the fondant. It not hot were I live and can I keep it out? Help, thanks

I am no expert, but I thought I would try and help. I would stick it in a freezer. I just did a red velvetwith cream cheese covered it with fondant and I froze it and took it out at 8 am and served at 2:30pm, everything was fine.

I have learned from various forums that putting fondant covered cakes in the freezer is ok as long as you give it time to settle back into room temperature.
