I have been asked to do a pajama themed bridal shower cake. The bride met her man while wearing pj's and was engaged wearing pj's. They don't want lingerie. Any ideas out there? Any help is appreciated!!!!

The only thing I can think of, rather than a cake looking like pajamas, would be either to do a cake as some fluffy slippers or a pillow cake...

How about white wedding dress jammies. You could do a 2 tier round with the jammie top and bottom cascading down the tiers. Decorate them with pearls and/or lace. Accent the cakes and/or board with fuzzy slippers and an engagement ring.

I saw an idea on Ultimate Cakeoff for a couple who met at a pj party. She made little pjs and hung them on hangers all around the cake. You could do the first tier with pjs on hangers "polka dotting" all around it. Then the next tier as a pillow and slippers on top either as a topper or extra cake.

I think it would be adorable to make sitting figures (over the edge of the top tier) holding hands and wearing PJ's and slippers. Maybe have them so that the girl is showing off her engagement ring to her man while they are sitting there.

The rest of the cake could be in whatever party colors/theme they are doing. You could show off your piping skills, write some phrases or add some fondant accents that tie into the shower.

Please share when you are finished with whatever you come up with!

Thanks for all the ideas! The bride to be's favourite jammies are green with white polka dots and I tied in all the elements: love, romance, comfort, warmth and security! Here's what I came up with!

seems almost a shame to have hidden the pj's they were fabulous on their own!! Great job!
