I made a small cake and froze it for about an hour to try to get a smoother look when covering with fondant. As soon as I took it out of the freezer I started working with my fondant. Once the fondant was on it was so sticky and wet looking is this normal?

I added the decorations and it was like glue, I couldnt move it around at all.

I used Rhondas MMF. And the fondant was made on Friday.

Your cake is thawing out under the fondant and causing the moisture. Moisture makes the fondant sticky. I usually thaw my cakes out before covering them in fondant. Maybe let it sit till it stops sweating and dries out before trying to do anything else to it.
