I need to make 3 of these things and need to know where to start the carving at or what sizes to use. They each have to serve 25 people!

Thank you all in advance

I made a large carved cupcake for my daughter's birthday (pic is in my gallery). I used 2 9's for the base and 2 8's for the top and carved it to get the shape of a cupcake. I then took a rope of fondant and wrapped around the top to get the swirl look. You could do this with any size to get the servings you need. I was going to use the wonder mold for the top but it would not cook for me. Good Luck.

I have made multiple cakes like this, and I use 3 9inch round cakes with a half ball cake on top. Then just the sides need to be angled and you've already got a dome. icon_smile.gif I'd say it would feed between 20 and 30 people, depending on the size of the slice.
