I need to make some fondant people. I was wondering what website, book, magazine might hold the best instructions for that or any of you guys's tips! It would be really appreciated. Also i need to make some christmas stockings on the cake! Miniature size! Any tips for that? thanks a ton! icon_lol.gif

Hi, when it comes to figure modeling, the only name that comes to my mind is aine2 aka Lorraine Mckay. She is the queen of figure modeling. Here is the link to her blog, which she has a link to her website on there.

She has loads of free tutorials and videos on making things. And also there are great tutorials which you can buy.

As for the stockings, you can print out the shape and cut them in fondant. I found loads on google.

Or you might be able to find small christmas cutters with the stocking.

I use polymer clay books for instructions for figures. Their instructions are very easy. They are in the clay section of your hobby stores.
