Our business has been growing enough that I can't keep up a full-time job and part-time/full-time cake business.....so, my dayjob is now part-time as of today. Guess I'll be tightening the belt moneywise but in order to grow more to eventually open a storefront, I need more time and the only way to get it was to go part-time. I'm really excited for this next phase. Next goal, quit the dayjob all together!

Congratulations! That is a huge step! It's hard to quit a"normal" job and do something on your own......Sounds like you are on your way, girl! thumbs_up.gif

Good luck to you. With the weddng season fast approaching I'm sure you're going to be very busy. Your cakes are beautiful. I'm only 40 minutes from Little Rock, I'll have to stop in when you get your storefront.

Oh, and I just now noticed that you're in Little Rock. My son lives there and plays music at wedding receptions. You might have some of the same clientele!
