Does anyone know a good vanilla cake filling that DOESNT need to be refrigerated? Ive found a few that will need to be put in the fridge, but none that wont! well, i lie, there i salways vanilla buttercream, but id really like to try something different!

I've added raspberry preserves (or you could use any other flavor) to vanilla buttercream and really like it! I usually just add until I like how it tastes, but I'd guess I usually would add 1/4c to 2 cups of bc.
There is also Nutella buttercrem for someone who likes chocolate. http://cakecentral.com/recipes/3853/chocolate-hazelnut-buttercream is a really good one I came across on this website.
