Not only is this the anniversary time of my Mom's death/burial, but my poor husband just finished chemo round #3 and he is soooo sick. I cannot even bake a cake because he cannot tolerate the smell of food cooking. I have been eating cold foods and some takeout until this passes for him. I only hope and pray that he will feel better on Sunday and then I will make him a nice hot meal. Please say a prayer for us!

My heart goes out to you both. I hope your DH is feeling much better soon, and that you will have some peaceful moments to remember your mom with a feeling of happiness in your heart.

I'm so sorry that I didn't see this on Friday when you posted it. I will start praying right now, though -- better late than never, right? I hope you found some comfort on this Easter holiday.
